Info Day takes place on the Camperdown/Darlington Campus – just 15-minute walk from Sydney’s city centre. Located near Central and Redfern train stations, and on major bus routes, there are many ways to get to the University.

On Info Day free shuttle buses will run between the following locations:

Railway Square at Central

8.30am to 4.30pm, departing every 10 minutes
On Info Day, free shuttle buses will run between Camperdown Campus (outside Fisher Library) and Railway Square at Central.

Visit Sydney Nursing School

9.45am to 1.45pm
Depart from corner of Manning and Fisher Roads

Sydney Nursing School (Mallett Street Campus) is just a short walk or bus ride from the main campus. Join a tour of our clinical simulation laboratories where our nursing students prepare for real-world practice.

Catch a train to Redfern station, then walk for about ten minutes to get to the Darlington Campus (the Camperdown Campus is a further five minutes).

Or you can catch a train to Central station and either walk or get our free Info Day shuttle bus at Railway Square.

Public buses

From the city

For stops on Parramatta Road (closest to the Quadrangle) catch routes 412, 413, 435, 437, 438, 440, 461, 480 and M10 from George Street or Railway Square.

For stops on City Road (close to the Darlington Campus) catch routes 422, 423, 426, 428 from Castlereagh Street or Railway Square.

Cross routes

Route 370 runs between Coogee and Leichhardt.

Route 352 runs between Bondi Junction and Marrickville.

Route M30 runs from Mosman to George Street in the city and Sydenham.

On any of the above routes, alight on City Road near Butlin Avenue, beside the entrance to the University of Sydney.

If you live nearby, why not walk or cycle in? Our main campus is a 15-minute walk from the CBD. There are plenty of cycle paths around the University and more than 800 bike racks across campus where you can lock your bike up securely while you are here.

We highly recommend you make use of public transport and/or the free shuttle buses to get to and from campus.

Parking at our Shepherd Street Carpark is free on Info Day but it fills up quickly. It is located on the corner of Shepherd and Cleveland Streets, behind the Seymour Centre.

Please comply with all relevant parking signs to avoid parking fines.
