Do I need to register to attend Info Day?
A: You don't need to register to attend, but by signing up online, we'll be able to send you exclusive updates and inform you if there are changes on the day.
How do I get to the University?
A: Free shuttle buses will run between Central Station and the Camperdown Campus on Info Day. Alternatively, you can catch a train and walk to the Darlington Campus, which is a short (10-minute) walk from Redfern train station. Find out more on our how to get here page.
How can I plan my day?
A: Most of our mini lectures run back-to-back, which means you might not have a lot of time to move to the next lecture. Make sure you plan your day in advance using our website or app, and use the interactive map on the day to find your way around our campus.
Do I need to register for mini lectures?
A: Registration is not required. Please note that we cannot guarantee seats at talks that may be popular on the day.
Can I get free wi-fi access on Info Day?
A: Free wi-fi is available on the day. Search for the wi-fi network name USYD Info Day 2019 and use the password welcometosydney.
Is the University accessible if I have special needs?
A: There is a wheelchair ramp access at the front of Great Hall, New Law Foyer and lift access to MacLaurin Hall. A ramp will be installed to allow access to the fete stalls in the Quadrangle. Please check the relevant talks and activities in the app for specific accessibility information for each venue. Allocated disabled parking bays are available on campus for those with a valid disabled parking pass, please speak to the security guards at the main University entrance on University Avenue for further assistance.
I am interested in postgraduate study. Can I attend Info Day?
A: We welcome both prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students and wider community to our Info Day. Please visit our course advice centres to learn about postgraduate study options.
Where can I get an Info Day event program?
A: All the event information can be found in the Info Day app. You can also collect your Info Day program from our student ambassadors in red t-shirts at the information stalls.
What if I have more questions after a mini lecture?
A: If there isn't enough time to ask questions because there's another lecture on in the same room, you can always speak to staff at our course advice centres.
I am having trouble connecting to the Info Day free wi-fi.
A: Select forget to remove any existing University of Sydney wi-fi connection from your device, and reconnect to the USYD Info Day 2019 wi-fi network after a few minutes using the password welcometosydney.
