The ancient world has never been more relevant to the modern world than it is today. The study of Ancient Greek and Roman history, culture, literature and language will enable you to understand societies radically different from our own, but which also formed the basis of Western culture.

This lecture will introduce you to some of the many exciting areas which are covered through our three majors, and highlight the ways in which the skills you will develop can be applied beyond the University.
